Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND)
Haneda sits inside Tokyo, much closer to the centre than Narita. It has three passenger terminals: Terminals 1 and 2 handle mostly domestic flights (Terminal 2 also has international departures), and Terminal 3 is the main international terminal.
航廈
- Terminal 1
- Primarily JAL group domestic flights.
- Terminal 2
- Primarily ANA domestic flights, plus some international services.
- Terminal 3
- Main international terminal.
抵達
International arrivals clear immigration and customs at the terminal where you land, then exit into the arrivals hall.
- Have your passport and any required entry declaration ready before you reach passport control.
- Japan uses an online entry procedure for immigration and customs declarations; complete it before landing if you plan to use it.
- Baggage claim is after immigration, followed by customs inspection.
- Free terminal shuttle buses and a connecting walkway/train link the terminals — allow extra time if your onward flight leaves from another terminal.

Rental cars
Rental desks and off-site counters serve the terminals; most travellers do not need a car in Tokyo.
IC cards (Suica/PASMO) work on trains and buses and can be bought or loaded at the station.
轉機與中轉
Domestic and international flights can be in different terminals, so budget time for the transfer.
- Arriving internationally and connecting to a domestic flight normally means clearing immigration and customs first, then re-checking in.
- Free shuttle buses connect Terminal 3 with Terminals 1 and 2.
- Some international connections at Haneda involve a change of airport to Narita — treat that as a separate journey of at least a few hours.
Wi-Fi 與保持連線
Free Wi-Fi is available in the passenger terminals.
- Look for the airport's public network and accept the terms page.
- Avoid entering banking or account credentials on public airport Wi-Fi.
貨幣、卡片與小費
Japan is increasingly card-friendly, but cash is still useful for small shops, shrines and some restaurants.
- ATMs are available in the terminals; ATMs at Japanese convenience stores and post banks widely accept foreign cards.
- Decline dynamic currency conversion and pay in Japanese yen when a card terminal offers you a choice.
- Tipping is not customary in Japan.
餐飲
All terminals have restaurants, cafés and convenience stores, with options both before and after security.
- Terminal 3 has a large landside dining area with late-evening options for overnight departures.
- Convenience stores are the reliable option late at night.
貴賓室與休息
Airline lounges and pay-per-use lounges operate in the terminals.
- Access depends on your ticket, status or membership programme — confirm eligibility with your airline or lounge programme.
機場飯店
There are hotels directly at the airport as well as many nearby.
- Terminal 3 and the surrounding airport complex include hotel options aimed at early departures and overnight layovers.
- Book in advance for early-morning international departures.
行李與海關
Baggage claim is after immigration for international arrivals.
- Luggage storage and coin lockers are available in the terminals.
- Japan's luggage-forwarding (takuhaibin) counters can send bags to hotels — useful for long trips.
- For lost or delayed bags, contact your airline's baggage desk before leaving the arrivals area.
家庭旅客與無障礙設施
Family and accessibility facilities are provided across the terminals.
- Nursing rooms and baby-changing facilities are available in each terminal.
