Travel eSIMs
A travel eSIM is a digital SIM profile that installs on your phone over wifi — nothing is shipped and nothing gets swapped. Here is how buying an international travel eSIM works.
- 1Choose your destination — country, regional or global coverage.
- 2Select an eSIM plan with the data amount and duration that fit your trip.
- 3Purchase securely online with card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- 4Receive your eSIM by email within seconds — QR code plus one-tap install links.
- 5Install it on a compatible, carrier-unlocked eSIM device while you're still on wifi.
- 6Activate on arrival by turning data roaming on for the eSIM profile and follow your plan instructions.
Plans are data-only: they do not include a local phone number, voice minutes or SMS. Keep your home SIM for calls and texts.
Most plans start counting when the eSIM first connects to a supported network at your destination. Unactivated plans expire 12 months after purchase.
Need more data mid-trip? Purchase another plan and install the new eSIM — top-ups on an existing eSIM are not available.
