Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK)
Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is situated in Tangerang, Banten, approximately 20 to 30 kilometres north-west of central Jakarta. The airport serves as the principal international gateway to Indonesia and consists of three main operational passenger terminals connected by an automated people mover system.
Terminals
- Terminal 1
- Handles select domestic routes operated primarily by domestic budget carriers.

- Terminal 3
- The primary modern terminal handling most international airlines and full-service domestic operations including Garuda Indonesia.
Arriving
Upon arrival, international passengers undergo border control, luggage collection, and customs inspection prior to entering the public arrival concourse.
- Follow clear overhead signage from the arrival gate to the primary immigration hall.
- Proceed to the appropriate immigration counter or automated gate; travellers requiring a Visa on Arrival (VoA) should pay at the dedicated payment desk prior to immigration control if not purchased online in advance.
- Collect checked luggage from the baggage carousels indicated on the arrival display screens.
- Complete the mandatory Indonesian electronic customs declaration (e-CD) form online prior to passing through customs scanners.

Connections & transfers
Transferring between terminals requires using the automated Kalaya (Skytrain) inter-terminal transit system or airport shuttle buses.

- Passengers transferring from international to domestic flights must clear immigration, retrieve baggage, and pass customs before re-checking bags at the domestic departures area.
