Important Information About Your eSIM
Install your eSIM before your trip and activate it when you arrive. Your plan begins when the eSIM first connects to a supported network at your destination.
- How long does my plan last?
- Once your eSIM connects at your destination, your plan's duration begins. For example, a 15-day plan will remain active for 15 days. When the plan ends, any unused data will also expire.
- What if I don't use my eSIM?
- An eSIM plan that has not been activated or connected will expire 12 months after the purchase date.
- What if I need more data during my trip?
- If you need additional data during your trip, simply purchase another plan and install the new eSIM. Top-ups and adding data to an existing eSIM are not currently available.
We recommend installing your eSIM before you leave home while you have a reliable internet connection. This makes it easier to get connected when you arrive at your destination.
How to activate your Global Light eSIM
- 1. Install on wifi before you fly. Scan the QR code from your confirmation email, or tap the iPhone / Android install link.
- 2. Label the profile. Name it “Global Light eSIM” so it's easy to find in your settings.
- 3. Land and switch on. Turn on data roaming for the eSIM profile only, and keep your home SIM for calls and texts.
- 4. Track your data. Every order includes a private trip dashboard link so you can watch your remaining balance.
